Cleaning the house this morning ready for a meeting here this evening I came to the buckets with candles in them, cleaned the outside of the buckets, wiped across the top of the candles with a damp cloth and tipped the one bucket which holds a citronella candle and the candle fell out. Obviously with the dryness and I expect age, the candle has shrunk...but imagine my horror when looking at the candle which is supposed to be citronella and seeing that just the top section of candle is citronella and the rest...the bulk of the candle is just plain candle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I'm sorry but in my mind that is just wrong....it's cheating the consumer and nothing more than a lie. I, like many others I am sure, bought the candle thinking the whole bucket is filled with citronella candle and now I find that very little of it is in fact so. We buy things in good faith, spending our hard earned money on things that we have an expectation about, only to realize we have been swindled.....
