Snoring, Cars, Wilfred and Bunnies

So far today has been pretty hectic...it's not quite lunch time and I have a headache!!!!I still think that may be allergy related,  but could also be the fact that I didn't sleep much last night.  Johan was snoring so loudly and I couldn't get him to stop!  I ended up lying awake thinking about an email I received yesterday to do with lung transplants and NiQi.  It's something we will have to pray about and speak to her current doctor about too....more to follow on that one.

Anyway the whole weekend is going to be a bit of a run-a-round as Johan is working both days, NiQi is working today and we have a Community Policing Meeting late this afternoon.  On top of that Johan had to go into town before work to fetch Wilfred (Wilfred is our gardener who works on our property in Kwa-Zulu/Natal, he's been with us since 1996!) from the bus station.  What a thing it was for me to get his bus tickets booked, as the bus service I wanted to use, is on strike, so I ended up using another service and paying a fortune more for the tickets...anyway he is here now and going to help out for the next two weeks, more especially next weekend, as we go down to KZN for the wedding.  I have a list of jobs I would like him to do for me and Johan has the same idea, so I think the poor man will be happy to go back at the end of the two weeks.

So with Johan going off early and NiQi needing to go to work...and we only have two cars between the 3 of us, I had to dash off very early to buy horse food, so that NiQi could go as soon as I arrived home.  Sadly I was at the shop before it opened, so I had to wait!!!!  Once home I quickly off loaded the fodder before NiQi jumped in and drove off.

9.30 am was when I finally managed to eat some breakfast, before going back outside to finish giving the birds fresh water.  So as you can see it has been quite a morning and I've been awake since 1.30 am!!!!  YAWN YAWN....lol

I have some photo's here of one of the mamma rabbits pulling her fur...outside the burrow....which is most unusual.   I managed to catch her doing this in the late afternoon yesterday, so had fun watching her do this...she wasn't even disturbed by our dogs watching her on the other side of the fence.  They normally pull it inside the burrow....but anyway she then proceeded to carry it inside, so I guess there is now a litter of tiny kittens lying snugly on their mamma's soft fur.

So now I'm going to get baking for the meeting this afternoon....looking forward to this evening and my book!!!!  NOTE TO SELF.... GET TO SLEEP BEFORE JOHAN GOES TO BED...hehe
